I grew up in Middle Georgia in Bibb County. After attending Mercer University, I pursued a call to ministry service. I left home to serve on staff at churches in LaGrange, GA, then at two churches in the metro Atlanta area before returning home in 2013 to take an opportunity to revitalize a struggling church right here in Centerville. In my nearly 20 year career in ministry, and my eleven years as the pastor of Centerville Community Church, I've learned that I am at my best when I am serving other people.

I got involved with the City Council while I was volunteering at some of our original Food Truck Friday events. For the last seven years, I have been thrilled to tie my call to serve this community as a minister together with my ability to serve as a part of our city's leadership.

We live in an incredible area with incredible potential, but Centerville must take some deliberate steps to shepherd the growth of the city so that we wind up with the businesses the community wants, not just the ones that make fast money. We must do this in a way that generates the revenue we need to keep property taxes low. Together, we can do it!
