LIST OF ISSUES
Fiscal Responsibility

In the past two years, Justin has cast the sole NO vote against two increases to the city's millage rate. During that same time period, the city greatly increased its emergency fund. If there was so much extra revenue, why did we raise taxes? The city should not be padding its savings while you struggle to make ends meet.

Justin stood up to mayor and council and voted against the yearly tax increases so that you could keep more of your money in your pocket.

Supporting our City Employees

From Police and Fire to Public works, a growing city must grow its ability to stay competitive and keep up the quality of our city services. Justin worked to ensure that city employees have competitive wages and benefits that the city can recruit and retain talented team members who can help make Centerville the best place to live in Middle Georgia!

Responsible Development

Real estate in our little city is very limited. The City must take steps today to plan for the future growth of our community and its needs. The city must more effectively exercise its oversight authority to make sure that the city grows in a way that is best for its citizens and not just outside investors.

Justin has served on the city's housing team, has obtained a certification from the Georgia Academy of Economic Development, and is tired of driving to another city to get a decent cheeseburger!

Leading for Centerville

Centerville is one city, in a big county, in a thriving state. Justin has developed critical relationships with county and statewide elected officials to make sure that Centerville's voice is heard on a variety of issues.
